NSAIDs (pronounced en-seds) are common nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs such as ibuprofen, diclofenac, naproxen and aspirin. Interestingly, a natural source of aspirin, or salicylic acid is found in jasmine, beans, peas, clover and certain grasses and trees in the Spiraea family.
If you have dental pain, or feeling feverish, chances are you’ll be reaching for an NSAID for relief. They’re meant for short-term use, so be sure to read the information enclosed in your package before using the product.
